Music lessons in Ballymena

We can provide instrumental lessons to children and adults, with an option of taking examinations. Students passing the higher grades will be awarded with UCAS points which increase the chances of a place at university.

The music lessons take place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with the emphasis on enjoyment without pressure. Students may learn to read music and play in the classical style, or may wish to learn by ear and play in the traditional style. The tutor will help the student to prepare for classical, rock or traditional examinations, if desired.

Young beginners are encouraged to take up recorder or whistle lessons while they learn the basics of music. Exams may be taken at all levels on classical recorder and traditional whistle or the pupil may decide to move on to another instrument when they feel ready. We have experience of some young beginners (aged 4-5) who have progressed well on piano and other instruments so please contact us if you would like your child to be given a trial lesson to assess their potential.
